Greetings all. Today we’re going to have a look at a handy meter that can be added to a full rig of HVAC instruments for increased versatility and accuracy. Said meter is the Fieldpiece SDP2 Dual In-Duct Psychrometer and it is a fairly unique and very interesting unit.

Amprobe has released the new 300 series of Industrial Clamp meters. Today I will be reviewing the AMP-310 HVAC Clamp Meter which is the entry level version of this series. This model is CAT III 600V safety rated and features True-RMS for voltage readings you can depend on.  Some useful functions for this meter in regards to HVAC specific testing are DC Microamps, Diode Test, Temperature readings via Type K Thermocouple slot, and Inrush Current measurement.

Today’s review will be on the Fieldpiece SC640 Digital Clamp Meter. Fieldpiece is one of the leaders in designing and releasing tools for the HVAC industry. In fact, they exclusively make testing equipment for the HVAC Industry. The Fieldpiece SC640 is a brand new meter from Fieldpiece and it complies with new UL Safety Standards that are coming out.

The Fieldpiece SMAN360 3-Port Digital Manifold has been discontinued.
