This innovative tester provides a cost-effective testing solution for LAN network diagnostics as well as testing features for other standard types of cabling issues. Let’s dive in.

Today I will be discussing the T3 Innovation PLR600 Power Prowler. This unit is really three units in one as it has a 600V Digital Multimeter, Fault Locator, and a Live Event Detection Function. The Digital Multimeter function of the PLR600 will measure AC/DC Volts up to 600V and measure Resistance. It also has an audible signal for Continuity.

Once upon a time JDSU made a line of network certifiers that were designed to certify network installations to IEEE standards 802.3 and TIA568A/B. The other part numbers you see in the title line refer to the different kits which include various remotes and a tone probe with the CC250. So let’s take a look at this bad boy. This tester works on coax cables and has some special features that set it apart from your typical coax tester.

The T3 Innovation AC120 Arc Chaser is a serious piece of technology. This unit is equipped with Spread Spectrum Time Domain Reflectometry (SSTDR) which gives the AC120 an accuracy within 1% to a fault. The T3 AC120 Arc Chaser monitors intermittent opens, shorts and faults and can work on both energized and unenergized cables.
