Extech BR200/250 Video Borescope Review

Sometimes you just need a small camera on a stick to get a better view of what you are doing. That is why Extech has created the BR200 and the BR250 Wireless Video Borescopes. Having the display be detachable is a nice feature that allows you to use this in tight spaces that may not be wide enough to fit the screen through.

When I first received this assignment to preview the Klein Tools ET500 I was not exactly thrilled. I was expecting more of the same that you usually get in the price point this instrument falls in. Normally you would get a borescope that is awkward to use with flimsy probes that don’t hold form very well.
