Discontinued product - Replaced by Fieldpiece SM480V 4-Port SMAN Wireless Refrigerant Manifold with Micron Gauge
The SMAN460 is the newest
digital manifold on offer from Fieldpiece. There is not much this manifold can’t handle, that’s for sure.
The Fieldpiece SMAN460 can measure two temperatures and two pressures. With this information, the manifold can calculate Superheat, Subcool, Target Superheat, and Liquid / Vapor Saturation.
The wireless capabilities allow for a lot of live measurements if you have the additional fieldpiece instruments that are required. As far as other technical features go, the Fieldpiece SMAN460 Wireless Digital Manifold has plenty of those.
First, the display is large, and with the bright blue backlight, it is very easy to read. Also, since the display is so large, it is capable of displaying all the information you need access to when working on any HVAC system. Secondly, the 4 ports allow you to hook up to the systems high and low side as well as a vacuum pump and recovery machine. This keeps everything hooked up and ready for when you are.
If you find yourself using a lot of individual instruments and analog gauges to calculate and measure everything this does, you probably waste a lot of time that no longer needs to be wasted. Sometimes it takes money to make money and in this case, an investment in a Fieldpiece SMAN460 is a wise one.
