, Fieldpiece CO Detector Accessory Head. All kidding aside, the ATIR3 IR Thermometer Accessory Head by Fieldpiece is a much simpler product that every HVAC technician worth his weight in refrigerant will use.
Every summer, you get the phone call that a customer’s A/C is not shotgun-blasting icicles out of their registers and that something is wrong. This information lets you know that you will be using your separate IR Thermometer Gun to take quick readings of the registers to find exactly what temperature the HVAC System in question is producing. From here, you will most likely head to the main unit located on the roof. I don’t know about you, but I certainly like to carry as little as possible while I am doing projects around the house. Having the capability of snapping on your IR Temperature Head is a nice space saver, and when used in conjunction with the rest of the Accessory Heads Fieldpiece makes, the modular concept really shines.
