Hello testing enthusiasts. Today’s post is going to cover some fairly simple but reliable little testers, the Extech SD500 and Extech SD700. These meters both offer quick and accurate temperature and humidity readings in controlled environments like cleanrooms, manufacturing plants, warehouses, and so on and so forth. The SD700 adds the ability to take barometric pressure readings and both meters can simultaneously display all the parameters that they respectively measure.
The most exciting and convenient part of these little guys is the ability to data-log up to 20M data points on a 2GB SD card. This data can then be easily transferred to a PC for analysis. This makes long term monitoring convenient and affordable for almost any application. Thanks for reading.
